This is the version used from 89-91 that had a resistor built into the oil gauge. These trucks used a oil pressure switch NOT a variable resistance sending unit. The resistor allows the gauge to read mid way (about) when the switch is closed. Will work on 87-88 trucks if you swap the oil pressure sensor to a switch.
