The fifth-generation Ford F-Series earned the Bumpside name from the pressed body line that runs the length of the bed and cab. Built from 1967 through 1972, these trucks were simple enough that most mechanical problems have an answer — the trouble is everything made of plastic.

Interior hardware from this era is over fifty years old. Bezels crack, clips give up, trim mounts break off at the post. Ford stopped supporting these parts decades ago, and what survives in salvage yards is usually as tired as the piece you're replacing.
